Q?

A.

Not if you are located in the city of Los Angeles, in which case all that is required is adequate parking space for the truck (see FAQ re: Space Required, below). Please check with your city for its requirements, or call us and we’ll help you figure it out.

Q?

Does made in Brooklyn require a minimum order?

A.

Yes, our minimum food and beverage order (2 hours of service) depends on the day of the week the event is scheduled for, but starts at $800. Our prices are subject to change based on date/day of week, location, additional hours, guests, service time. The service charge will be added to the food and beverage price.
Please call or email us for more information.

Q?

How much does Made in Brooklyn charge service fees and/or travel fees? Should I pay an additional gratuity?

A.

Our service charge is 15% and includes our travel fee unless the location is 8 miles or more outside of downtown Los Angeles. The service charge, a customary fee charged by most catering operators, covers labor, fuel, and waste disposal. If a travel fee applies, we will calculate the additional travel cost on a case-by-case basis. Gratuity can be added at clients’ own discretion, and will go directly to the employees who worked your event.

Q?

Does Made in Brooklyn provide trash cans, plates, utensils and napkins?

A.

Yes! This is one of the major benefits of food truck catering. All you do is supply the space and we take care of the rest: food, (non-alcoholic) drinks, everything.
